Zen Vision:M undocumented how to & tips
Creative is below par when it comes to explaining the real capability of Zen Vision:M player. The user manuals are NOT very helpful either. Like iPod, Zen does not have the "All" option to play all the songs from a particular artist or an Album. I was really annoyed by this fact.
But today I stumbled upon a creative forum post which explains how to do this and whole bunch of other things! Here are some of the useful tricks you ought to know if you own a Zen.
- Play ALL Songs from a particular artist
With the iPod, in the artist's folder there is an "ALL" option to play all the songs from an artist. To do this on the Vision:M, just go to ARTIST, scroll down to the artist you want, then simply press the "PLAY" button. The same goes for GENRES and ALBUMS too. Even easier than the iPod!
- Search GENRE by song title
Choose the particular genre, then, when you see the list of artists, click menu (Options), and choose either "View Tracks" or "View Albums" to get a list of all of the tracks or albums within that genre. The scroll bar will be there.
- Get to the SHORTCUT list quickly
by holding down the shortcut button for a couple seconds.
